1.5 Mile Loop: Dominick and Nell's Rock Trails

Rated easy, level, but uneven footing in places.  This part of the trail system has less traffic on it than other sections.

Start:

Dominick Trailhead at the very end of John Dominick Drive.  Head straight into woods for about 15 feet, then turn right onto an old woods road, following ORANGE blazes.

0.09 mi. Go right at first fork in road, follow orange blazes
0.17 Go left at second fork in road, leaving orange blazes.  This is Backtax Alley. It is not blazed, but is a significant old woods road. After 0.24 mile it will rejoin Dominick Trail - just keep going straight for a few hundred feet.
0.49 Turn right at the Four Corners junction, onto Nell's Rock Trail. This intersection is marked by a post with three colors of trail markings (yellow, white, and orange).  Follow WHITE trail markings.
0.68 Trail goes right near the Nell's Rock Road area. Keep following white markings.
1.03 Turn right onto Dominick Trail, and follow orange markings back to the starting point
1.49 John Dominick Drive.
